Shaw and Crompton
Shaw and Crompton is a town and civil parish within the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, in Greater Manchester, England.[1] It lies on the River Beal at the foothills of the Pennines, 2.3 miles (3.7 km) north of Oldham, 3.6 miles (5.8 km) southeast of Rochdale, and 8.7 miles (14 km) to the northeast of the city of Manchester. It is regularly referred to as Shaw.

High School is a coed Roman Catholic high school and sixth form for 11-18 year olds, located in Royton, in the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, Greater Manchester, England.), The school is a specialist school in Mathematics and Computing, and currently contains over 80 members of staff, with over 1,200 students. The sixth form college offers 19 (as of the 2007/08 academic year) courses. The current head teacher is Mrs.C Spillaine, she took over from Mr. R. Whittaker in 2010.[1]
